Last Thursday the Macquarie University Applied Finance Society held its annual LinkedIn Photoshoot Evening. The event’s purpose was to provide members with a clear headshot to showcase on their LinkedIn profiles, and to help them understand the benefits of using LinkedIn to showcase their brand when applying for positions in the industry.

The event began with a presentation from Aneri Upadhyay (Senior Consultant from Deloitte’s Talent Acquisition team). Aneri summarised Deloitte’s summer vacationer and graduate programs and explained the importance of LinkedIn and the benefits of leveraging the platform,

Afterwards, members of the Applied Finance Society had the opportunity to have their professional headshots taken. It was an outstanding event where students took the opportunity to level up their professional presence.

The Applied Finance Society would like to thank Aneri Upadhyay for her amazing insights into how students can differentiate themselves as they prepare for life after university, and Cheryl Kwon for taking professional headshots of our members, and Alanah Issa for taking these amazing shots of the event!
